Team captains should ensure that scorers are taught to stand still while shooter is throwing. Scorers are not to lean over to the board to check the score until all 3 darts have been thrown. Score boards must be beside the dart boards.

2.3 Assuming that the floor is level, the height of the board is to be 5’8” (68”) to the center of the bulls eye (level to the toe line) and 7’9 ¾” (93 ¾”) to the line. (9’7 ½” (115 ½”) from the bull diagonally to the toe line.

3.2 All darts must be deliberately thrown, one at a time by, and from the player’s hand.

3.3 A throw shall consist of three dart’s, unless the leg [game] being played is finished in less then than three dart’s, or unless the player “busts”.

4.3 When both teams are on x1 and can’t finish; Each team will get 5 turns shooting the x1. If it is not hit, each team will shoot all 3 darts till x1 is hit to win. [If a dart hits another no,#, it is a dead dart. The shooter keeps shooting the other 2 darts till x1 is hit]. [If both teams are taking to long to hit the x1 an option to be decided by each other player is diddle for the middle.

4.4 The bust rule shall apply. Except when rule 4.3. is in affect.

The player’s opponent shall be afforded time to verify the called game shot. In order to prevent a dart from falling out during that period the thrower may hold the dart in the board by pressing on the end of the flight.

Scoring
5.1 A dart shall only score if the point remains in or touching the face of the dartboard having been legally thrown, and after being “called” has been retrieved by the thrower.

5.2 The score counted is that of the point of entry into the board. I.e. If the point of the dart passes under the wire into another number, the score recorded is that of the original entry.

5.3 After all three darts are thrown, all scores must be verified by the scorer before darts are taken out of the board. If darts are removed before scorer sees them shooter will get zero for a score. Wait till scorer writes score on board before removing your darts.

5.4 A protest about the score attained, after the darts have been removed may not be upheld. If a score is questionable it must be checked before darts are removed.

5.5 All scores marked and subtractions made, should be checked by the scorer, the thrower, and the opponent after each throw and where practicable before the next player throw commences.

5.6 All requests to check score recorded, or subtractions made, shall be made before the next throw. In the event that a subtraction error is noted, the next opposing player’s throw shall not be interrupted, and the score shall be corrected after that throw is complete. No changes to the score shall take place after the next player has started his turn. [i.e.: 1 dart has been thrown.

5.7 Coaching: No one can tell a person what to shoot when the shooter is on the toe line. As long as the shooter is facing the board you can not tell them what to shoot. To get help, they do not have to move their feet or step off the line. They may ask ANYONE what to shoot by just turning their head away for the board. THERE SHOULD BE NO ONE AT THE LINE EXCEPT THE SHOOTER.

5.8 In the event that a mistake is made by the scorer regarding the score made with any dart, such that a player throws for the wrong remaining score. Any such darts shall be declared void, and may be re-thrown.

5.9 The first players or team to reduce the score to exactly zero by obtaining the required double, is the winner.

5.10 When keeping score each team must provide a scorekeeper for each board. The same people should not have to keep score all night. The only way to learn is to get every one up to try. DO NOT TAKE DARTS OUT OF THE BOARD TILL SCOREKEEPER ADDS THEM UP. IF DARTS ARE REMOVED BEFORE VERIFIED NO SCORE WILL BE COUNTED.

5.11 If a player shoots out of turn and it is not noticed right away the person who’s turn it was would assume the score gained by the wrong player and miss their turn. The order must be put back on track. [This of course would not count if the wrong player finishes the game. The last score will be erased and the correct player will try to finish].

Cricket Rules

To win the game a player should close the 3-x15-20 numbers as well as 3-bull's eye and score more points than the opponent. The inner narrow board ring counts for three times the number hit, the outer narrow board ring counts twice the number hit. A number is closed when a player hits three of that number. Each player has 3 throws within a round and can hit the numbers 15-20 as well as the bull's eye. A player should try to close the numbers as quickly as possible.

If one dart has hit the number, the "/" sign is put on the board next to the number. In case of two hits, the "X" sign is used and if the number is hit three times, the number is circled, “O” which means it is closed.

When a player has closed a number and their opponent has not closed the number yet, any darts that hits the number scores points for the player who has already closed it and the points are totaled on the player's side of the board.

Players alternate throughout the game. When any of the players closes all the numbers and the player has scored more points than the opponent, he wins. If a player has closed all the numbers and has scored fewer points than the opponent, he still has to score points until their number rises to the level the opponent has or exceeds it.
